The aromatherapy massage allows the aroma of essential oils to calm the mind

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE . . . .
Today Indian Head massage is no longer confined to the head area, & has been westernised to include treating other parts of the body vulnerable to stress such as the neck, shoulders and upper arms. Incorporating these areas allows the treatment to be more of a stress management programme.
The Westernised version of Indian Head massage is performed with the Client seated in a chair either over clothes or with a towel, and can be either with oil or without. Traditional Indian Head Massage is performed on the floor, is only on the Head, and does use oil.
It is very powerful – and Extremely Relaxing!

Massage in Schools – Nurturing touch:-
The routine is performed by the children on the children
It is a daily routine which lasts between 5 – 10 mins depending on their age.
It is performed over clothes on the head, neck, back and arms.
Performing or receiving Nurturing Touch results in:-

Improved concentration
Increase in self-confidence as skills develop
Helps children think about the needs of others and builds respect for others
Children give permission and say thank you
Teaches children to recognise good / bad touch
